Everyone knows someone whose life has been impacted by cancer. In 2009, a good friend of ours was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML). She was treated at UNC Lineberger and now her cancer is in remission. It’s an amazing story with a happy ending.
After watching the bravery our friend exhibited in her fight against cancer, we realized there was more we could do. In 2013, we founded The Farm Party hoping to make an impact – our goal is to raise money to help fund research and treatment for thousands of patients at UNC Lineberger.
In the past nine years, The Farm Party has raised more than $80,000 for UNC Lineberger. Not bad for a group of folks with zero fundraising experience. We want to do better and we will, with your help.
Please join us for our tenth fundraising event at The Teer Farm on October 28. We’re going to have plenty of North Carolina BBQ, beer, wine and some kickin’ Bluegrass music. We’ll also have a Silent Auction full of luxuries you’ll want to bid on. (Check the SILENT AUCTION PAGE to see what we will be featuring this year.) TICKETS are $75 for adults, $25 for children and those 5 & under are admitted free.
